Level 4 lockdown

 Wednesday 18th August

Last night (Tuesday 17th) our Prime Minister Jacinda Arden put New Zealand into level 4 lock down. My mum made a workbook of school work for me that I start tomorrow. I cried because there is no school, i will miss all my class friends and my Teacher Miss Goslin so today I just watched some videos on youtube.

Thursday 19th August

Today I had my first google meet with Mi.ss Goslin and a few of my class mates that I had missed. It was great seeing everyone and playing games. We played treasure hunts and guessed zoomed in pictures. I also tidied the mess in my room and went for a bike ride around the block.

Friday 20th August

Today I did some more school work in my book and then my mama made me a big bubble bath it was so nice and warm and had lots of bubbles. After that we went for another bike ride and I did a house hunt that my mama made in my workbook. I came home and watched my daddy put some walls on our car port in the back of our house, he did a good job. For the rest of the day I just relaxed watching tv. Mama and I put up my big pink castle tent into my room it has some of my favorite toys in it.

Monday 21st August

Today I woke up feeling a little bit sniffly but warmed up with my blanket. Another fun google meet with my class and got to show everyone my collage. My sister Bailey made me a yummy tortilla wrap with chicken, cucumber, cheese, lettuce and avocado/garlic dressing. Bailey helped me do slides on my chromebook and complete a checklist so I know what work i have done.

Great idea keeping a diary of what you have been doing everyday through lockdown! It's fun to look back on it in the future. It sounds like Miss Goslins google hangouts have been fun! I might have to pop in one day..
